Is a ceramic coating worth it?
It's worth it if you want washing to be faster and the paint to stay glossy with less effort. It's not worth it if you expect it to stop rock chips. That's PPF's job. A coating also needs regular washing to perform. It makes washing easier, not optional.

Do I need paint correction on a new car?
Often a light polish. New cars can arrive with swirls from dealer prep washes.
Is a cheaper coating a bad idea?
Not necessarily. A shorter rated coating can be a good fit if you change cars often. Just know what you're buying.
